[News] Benue State Polytechnic Ugbokolo have completed their SIWES programme

In a bid to fulfil the aims of Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES), Benue State Polytechnic Ugbokolo (BENPOLY) had completed its Programme for the 2020/2022 academic session on the 13th October, 2022.





The students of the Polytechnic who were opportuned to be attached to various industries around the country were called out by the SIWES coordinators in various departments to give an account of their Industrial Training Programme.




SIWES Director, Benue State Polytechnic Ugbokolo, Mr Anebi Patrick who was live at the programme, told the students of the Polytechnic that: “SIWES programme is important, because it prepare students for industrial work situations they are likely to meet after graduation”.



Mr Anebi further expressed that every student in the Polytechnic is therefore expected to carry out the Programme before graduation, and failure to do so will lead to the regress in such a Student academic activities.





The Programme was therefore carried from various departments such as; Department of Mass Communication, Department of Computer Science, Department of Science Laboratory Technology, Department of Engineering, Depart of Accountancy and many others.
