“Go Get Your PVC”- MI Abaga Appeal to Colleagues

Nigerian music star, Jude Abaga popularly known as MI Abaga has encouraged his colleagues to go get their PVC ahead of the 2023 general elections.

In a post he shared on his Instagram account, Jude Abaga stated that top artistes and celebrities need to show true leadership by going out to get their PVCs so as to vote against bad governance.

MI Abaga begged his colleagues who took part in the #Endsars protest in 2020 to join the Nigerian society in voting during the elections.

According to MI, it would be a powerful signal that would make the youths to come out to join in the 2023 general elections.

He further added that taking part in the elections as celebrities shows true leadership and seriousness.

On the other hand, former presidential aide, Reno Omokri advised Nigerian youths to apply the same energy they use for voting the BBNaija housemates in the upcoming 2023 general elections.

The media personality, Omokri told the Nigerian youths to form groups and spend their money in campaigning for their candidate of choice.

He talked more about the importance of voting on election day, saying that rigging is only possible when people do not vote.

He wrote:

“Dear Nigerian youths, the 2023 elections are almost here. Approach it like you did with #BBNaija. Form teams for your preferred candidate. Spend your money campaigning for them. Broadcast their manifestos to all your contacts.

“Forget about rice and pay the price for your future. Don’t be BBNaija wise and Aso Rock foolish! You say your PVC does not count. Who told you? Rigging is only successful when there is low voter turnout out. But where there is a high voter turnout, rigging is all but impossible”.
